THE CHALLENGE

The Doux, a popular hair care brand, wanted to show up in fresh ways for Black women with textured hair, driving buzz in stores and standing out in culture.

Glen & Haze served as strategic consultants for The Doux’s CVS activation in Atlanta, guiding the overall experience strategy behind the event. Our role was to help reimagine a traditional retail activation into a culturally relevant, experience-driven moment that would draw women into the store, deepen engagement with the brand, and drive product purchase.

We partnered with the team to develop a clear strategic framework for the activation, advising on how to transform the CVS location from a standard brick-and-mortar into a destination. Central to this strategy was identifying opportunities to leverage talent—such as influencers, artists, and DJs—to create energy, authenticity, and social pull beyond the store walls.

Through consulting and strategic ideation, we outlined executable concepts for promotion, in-store touchpoints, and talent integration that elevated the overall experience and extended the reach of the event.

The result was a retail moment designed to feel less transactional and more cultural—inviting women to engage with the brand, connect with each other, and quite literally let their hair down.
